Birthed From pain

Have you ever stopped to ponder how, as our bodies age and our hair greys, our soul becomes more beautiful? When I reminisce about my youth I quickly shift my thoughts to how little she understood about life, pain and inner beauty. Though her skin was firm and her hair a lovely color, she walked in uncertainty and fear, never feeling worthy of love and shrinking from every opportunity to give her heart away. I look now at my not so young body and grey hair and I want to tell her, fear not for you only get more beautiful with time, and it is birthed from your pain.
